About the Delaware Valley Chapter
Founded in 1975, the Delaware Valley (DelVal) chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is a diverse group of more than 2,000 BMW enthusiasts in the extended Philadelphia metropolitan area.
The Board of Directors and Officers of the DelVal chapter are guided by the belief that while people join the club for the cars, they stay in the club for the people.
In addition to driving-oriented events hosted by the DelVal chapter such as high performance driver school, autocross, and rally events, we also host social events that involve less time behind the wheel and are intended to be fun for the entire family.
Since we are, first and foremost, a car club, we place a lot of emphasis on the safe, proper operation of our vehicles.
The DelVal chapter offers several “behind-the-wheel” activities designed to improve your driving skills in a safe and controlled environment with an emphasis on education including the Tire Rack Street Survival Tire Rack Street Survival® teen driving program, autocross events hosted by the Philadelphia Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and the High Performance Driver School program.
